I'm thinking that this is a 1956 Ford Skyliner, but not sure. They were a great car of the 50's. With it's re-tractable roof that slid into the trunk to make it a convertible. The trouble with this is that the roof always gave problems. Too bad it never lasted. I would love to have that car now. Imagine the money it's worth today!
We owned a Convertible dark blue with the wheel incorporated in the back. We had the Ford Model. Your car color was red so pretty.
I loved that time. Coke, hamburgers, French fries and yummier gravy and to the good old Slop shop was called across from the high school. We hung out. I used to eat the fries with gravy and ketchup on top and the real coke. For Breakfast every morning. Miracle I am a live. Sure bad for the heart. What do kids think back then sure not healthy eating.
Oh my goodness! Gorgeous when cars were classics and made so beautifully. I inherited my big brother Ed's Chevy Impala. Red, and white with a hard top. Two doors. I loved that car. He had a car that was gray and pink, oh man, I loved that one too. But don't remember all the particulars about it. Sigh...hugs XO XO
My hubby when I met him had a nice car with the tire at back and convertibles. loved those days.
Many Friday night and Saturday spent at the drive ends. And loved those snack bars with food. I was never a fat teen and adult till I had grandkid's and menopause. Now back to being an old lady and thin again. That car is a beauty. Red .

Cool car, we still have some of these old drive-in places.
We didn't do that very often but it was definitely the best of times!
Oooooo, fancy-schmancy! Love that old car, in my next life I will be driving one and stopping for a burger and a soda pop.
